Rotary supports local and international charities and service projects. Here are three (of many!)
Crystal Ball Farms on Osceola has been an entity that our club has supported for many years.
Prior to COVID, our members would assist with their annual open house for special needs children.
Every year our Club financially assists other Clubs within our Rotary District to provide relief or benevolence projects all around the world!
In recent years our Club has helped to fund benevolence or relief projects in Kosovo, Costa Rico, Turkey, India and Haiti, to name just a few.
The St. Croix Falls Feed Shelf has been another charities that we financially support. Here President Tom Meister presents a check to the Food Shelf ffor $298.83. Pictured L to R: Susan Sexauer, Tom Meister, Sharon Asp (Food Shelf Executive Director) and Sharon McQuillan.
Rotary offers plenty of opportunities for service to our community!
When a Bike across Wisconsin group needed a watering hole at the end of their daily trek, the Rotary Club stepped up to the task! The Club sold water, pop and beer to thirsty riders, and then donated the proceeds to a local charity
There are plenty of opportunities to get your hands dirty (or paint covered) in our Club. Dawn M. came straight from her banking job (note the name tag) to assist with painting the fence in a downtown pocket park.
This multi-generational work crew just finished grooming the fairways of the SCF Rotary Disc Golf Course. Our Rotary Club is family-friendly, and we welcome the opportunity to work with our youth.
Expand your friend network: meet and make new friends from all over the world!
Each year our Club hosts at least one (and sometimes two) Rotary Youth Exchange students. We've hosted students from Japan, Kosovo, Korea, Taiwan, Australia, Brazil, Mexico, France, Bolivia, Poland, Philippines, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Finland, China, South Africa, Slovakia, France, Spain, Argentina, and Indonesia!
Through the Rotary Group Exchange, we met fellow Rotarians from Israel. They stayed with local families, and we enjoyed learning about their customs and traditions.
Our Club also hosts outbound Rotary Exchange students. This gives local students the opportunity to stay with Rotary Families abroad for nine months.
